Replace any guard that has done its job — absorbed energy is spent energy. Check anchor torque after impacts and yearly, keep yellow surfaces clean enough to mean something, and photograph everything for the audit file.

Pallet gates keep one side closed at all times by mechanism, meeting edge-protection requirements; certificates ship with each gate.

Do guards damage the floor when hit?
