QORVANIX Mezzanines — the free floor above the floor

The Beryl makes the racking carry the floor: storage below, walk-on levels above, one steel doing two jobs, and fire coordination drawn in from the first sketch rather than argued in at the last.

Platforms and walkways are built for the two audiences that matter: the people on them and the inspectors under them. Grating that drains and grips, kick plates and handrails to standard, and connections designed for inspection — nothing hidden, nothing hoped.

Design & Craft

  • Rack-supported floors: storage below, floor above
  • Pick modules integrate flow lanes at each level
  • Fire and sprinkler coordination drawn in from day one
  • Stairs, gates and edge protection to standard included
  • Load plaques posted; yearly walk-through bookable
  • Columns are the racking — steel does double duty

Care

Keep the load plaques posted and respected, edge gates closed, and stair nosings intact. Inspect bolted connections at year one, then per the documentation pack. Alterations only through our engineers — floors are systems, not shelving.

Questions, Answered

How disruptive is installation?
Days, not months: pre-engineered components, our own crews, and lifts planned around your operation. The site survey sets the schedule honestly.

What loads can the floor take?
Designed to your brief and plaqued accordingly — typical light storage runs 350–500 kg/m²; heavier is a design choice, not a hope.
